day 1: arusha - tarangire national park
Be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha at 6:00am.
Drive to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive, where open grasslands, acacia trees and the Tarangire River paint the wild landscape. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in search of eland, Oryx, wildebeests, zebras and a large elephant population. Keep your eyes trained for hartebeests, gazelles and exotic birds like the bateleur and martial eagle. Late in the afternoon we drive in the direction of great rift valley escarpment then into our lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
day 2: tarangire - lake manyara
**** A whole day full of game drives provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals. During your stay in the Serengeti, you are likely to spot a great variety of wildlife including cheetah, bearded wildebeest, bat eared fox, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and zebra. Dinner and camp-fire with the stars and sounds of the African night. Overnight again at our beautiful Camp.
day 2: lake manyara national park
****After breakfast, we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will descend into the Crater with our picnic lunch, through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater, what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest natural wildlife arena. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. A truly unique wildlife experience. After lunch we ascend the crater and head back to the airport to catch an evening flight; or book one more night in Arusha.
